Lexus of Cool Springs & Lexus of Nashville are hiring Automotive Technicians of all skill levels to join our growing teams. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Lexus vehicles to dealership standards, coordinating with parts, and maintaining a clean, organized shop while staying current with factory

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Lexus vehicles with accuracy and efficiency per dealership and factory standards
• Coordinate with parts department to ensure timely parts delivery and flag delays or special orders to the team leader
• Accurately diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs
• Save and tag parts for warranty work or customer requests
• Inspect vehicles to recommend additional safety or service work as needed
• Notify Service Consultants if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed as promised
• Document all work on repair orders with clear concern, cause, and correction notes
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality
• Return customers' vehicles clean and ready to drive and stay current with factory bulletins and training
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and account for dealership-owned tools at all times
• Follow all regulations and safety standards to ensure a safe work environment
• Demonstrate professionalism and embody Lexus values in all interactions

Your Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair Lexus vehicles with accuracy and efficiency, following dealership and factory standards
• Communicate clearly with the parts department to ensure timely parts delivery and notify team leader if awaiting parts or special orders
• Accurately diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs
• Save and tag parts when jobs are under warranty or requested by the customer
• Inspect vehicles thoroughly to recommend additional safety or service work when needed
• Notify Service Consultants promptly if additional work is needed, unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be completed as promised
• Document all work performed on repair orders with detailed concern, cause, and correction notes
• Road-test vehicles to verify quality of repairs
• Return customer vehicles clean and ready to driveStay current with factory technical bulletins and attend factory training classes regularly
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and account for dealership-owned tools at all times
• Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal
• Demonstrate professionalism and embody Lexus's vision, mission, and values in all interactions
• Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure a safe work environment

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
• Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, or more than 10 pounds constantly
• Requires walking, standing, sitting, and operating arm or leg controls at a production pace
