Job summary

The Rustic Wrench Llc is seeking a professional technician for our in-person, Arizona-based shop. We prioritize a high car count to ensure strong earning potential with a competitive flat-rate pay.

We offer a family-owned environment with work-life balance, no weekends, M-F, and generous benefits including health and dental insurance. Hiring technicians with 3+ years of experience; ASE certs are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Technician with 3+ years experience in automotive repair.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Experience and skill may substitute for certifications.
• Ability to work in a high-volume shop and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certification/experience level.
• Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Completes work per Multi-point Inspection or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical staff and customers.
• Recommends necessary services and documents them in the customer file.
• Adheres to safety procedures and reports concerns.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants and/or customers.
• Recommends services that are necessary to keep the customer’s vehicle in running condition; properly documents all recommendations in customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year

Schedule: 10 hour shift
