Kia Retailers are offering skilled and experienced military Veterans the opportunity to begin an inspiring career as a Kia Certified Service Technician. To support this initiative, Kia America, Inc. has established the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP).

Job Description

1. Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical components.
2. Complete repair orders and warranty request orders according to Kia and Retailer policies.
3. Test drive vehicles, analyze, diagnose, and repair components using Kia diagnostic tools and strategies.
4. Perform services, diagnostics, and repairs promptly, communicating effectively with the shop foreman and service advisor to ensure customer satisfaction.

All employment opportunities are with independently owned Kia Retailers. Applicants are applying for full-time positions with a Kia Retailer, not directly with KUS or ERS. Employment is subject to applicable laws and individual Kia Retailer requirements.

Requirements

• Honorable Discharge
• Valid Driver's License from any state with a clean driving record
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field
