Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Denton, Texas is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles under the supervision of experienced technicians.

You will participate in routine inspections, assist in repair procedures, and interact with customers to explain services while delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. The role offers flat-rate pay with a pay range of $17.50–$26.30 per hour and opportunities to pursue ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver''s license and be able to drive company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a Vocational-Technical School program.
• ASE certification or equivalent training encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees paid by company).
