Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician to learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks under guidance from experienced technicians. You will participate in routine inspections and interact with customers to explain repairs and provide high-quality service.

The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a fast-paced work environment, with a pay range reflecting flat-rate compensation and regional variations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
  • Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.
  • ASE certification or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance.
  • Install parts.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment.
