Schomp Automotive Group is hiring a mainline automotive technician at our Fairfield, CA location. You will service vehicles, perform scheduled maintenance, inspect engines and electrical components, and diagnose issues to recommend repairs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as mainline technician in a professional dealership or automotive service center.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and motivation to increase knowledge & technical skills.
• Must own a complete and up-to-date set of tools.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Service vehicles in a timely and proficient manner for routine scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues and recommend replacements.
• Collaborate with the team to meet dealership, group, and manufacturer goals.
• Repair or replace broken parts and fix issues to maintain productivity goals.
