We are seeking a top-notch, experienced Automotive Technician to work in our growing service department at Volkswagen of Streetsboro! Applicant should have knowledge of different makes and models and be comfortable with minor diagnostics. They must be goal-focused, detail-oriented, and a self-starter. Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles and diagnose the problem(s).
• Provide excellent customer service by performing quality repairs and maintenance that meet dealership and manufacturer standards, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Estimate time and parts needed for repairs/maintenance.
• Learn new technical information and techniques through training to stay current with technology.
• Build and maintain product and service knowledge via on-the-job and manufacturer training.
• Be analytical with good problem-solving skills.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace.

Service Technician Requirements:

• 3-5 years of automotive service technician experience.
• Energetic with a positive attitude.
• Devoted to your career.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record.
• Volkswagen and/or ASE certifications are a plus.
• Automotive technical school graduate is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $60.00 per hour
