Job summary

Lighthouse Buick GMC, Inc. is seeking an Everest Lifted Trucks Technician to join its team. You will install lift kits, wheels, tires, and accessories, performing B Tech level service work to ensure high-quality results.

The role emphasizes teamwork yet allows self-direction on solo projects. Expect a fast-paced shop environment, strict adherence to standards, and ongoing manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of automotive technician experience required.
• Must be a High School Graduate or have a completed GED
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and successfully pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Installing lift kits, lowering kits, wheels, tires, power running boards, exhaust and other accessories.
• Assisting the internal service department with repair orders - B Tech level repair work - performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnosing the cause of malfunctions and performing repairs.
• Communicating effectively with teammates, parts department, service advisor, and supervisor.
• Inspecting and refilling fluid levels as necessary.
• Cleaning and lubricating fittings as needed.
• Documenting all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road testing vehicles when required or referring to the test technician.
• Participating in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools and events.

You will be responsible for installation of lift kits, wheels, tires, accessories, and for B Tech level service work on vehicles - ensuring quality workmanship.

Essential duties include

• Installing lift kits, lowering kits, wheels, tires, power running boards, exhaust, and other accessories.
• Assisting the internal service department with repair orders - B Tech level repair work - performing work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repair.

• Ensuring the cleanliness of customer’s cars and shop area.
• Understanding, keeping abreast of, and complying with: manufacturer technical bulletins, federal, state, and local regulations--such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of automotive technician experience required. - Experience with Vehicle customization or performance preferred.
• Must be a High School Graduate or have a completed GED
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Successful completion of a background check is required prior to hire.
