Job summary

Victory Automotive Group in Southern California is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to service vehicles, rotate tires, perform multi-point inspections and check fluids according to established procedures. You will work in a fast-paced team, with opportunities to learn and advance. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record and good communication are required.

No prior experience? entry level welcomed and training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer and internet skills are needed.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to bend, lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced shop.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
• Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions
• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules
• Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Description

The Lube Technician services vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures, which includes rotating tires, performing multi-point inspections, and changing automotive fluids.

They check the oil, tire pressure, tire condition, filters, windshield wiper fluid, brake and transmission fluids, and engine coolant, while providing the highest quality service and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate may have experience or a willingness to learn. Some automotive training and/or experience with automotive repair a plus.

An unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record and strong physical dexterity and stamina to get the job done are required. They must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.
