Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will learn and perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance under veteran technicians, interact with customers, and uphold high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.

A sign-on bonus of $1,500 is available for first-time hires. Pay range for this role is $19.25 to $28.93 per hour, with flat-rate pay and a focus on fair compensation.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years (fees covered by company; bonus for each test passed).
