Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced retail service environment. You will learn under skilled technicians, perform standard inspections, and assist in repairs while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Eligible for a sign-on bonus and a flat-rate pay model. Pay range shown reflects regional earnings and may vary with workload and experience; benefits include on-the-job training and opportunities for ASE

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within first two years of employment; tests/fees paid by company.
