Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in our service team. You will learn hands-on with experienced techs and participate in inspections, tests, and customer communications to deliver high-quality workmanship.

The role offers a flat-rate pay model and opportunities to earn while you learn; ASE certifications are supported with company funds and paid tests. A value-driven, team-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: oil changes, basic inspections, and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program or demonstrated skills via third party certificates; ASE certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests/fees paid by Bridgestone).
