Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. You will learn under experienced technicians, perform routine maintenance, and interact with customers to explain repair procedures and ensure high-quality service.

Responsibilities include oil changes, inspections, tire maintenance, battery and electrical checks, and road testing. ASE certifications are encouraged, with company support for exams.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes.
• Basic inspections and reading, writing, and math skills.
• Preference for 2 years of automotive repair experience or related technical training.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and other installations.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years; company covers tests/fees.
