Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an Automotive Technician to learn and assist in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles within our service team. Under supervision, you’ll gain hands-on experience and communicate repair steps to customers, delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires, reading/writing/math.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems for wear or failure.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and rotation as needed.
• Install parts and components as directed by technicians.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment (fees paid by company).
