Job summary

Burlington Kia in Burlington, NC is seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to join our growing service team. We offer top pay to qualified candidates, plus training and development programs to advance your skills.

Responsibilities include performing repairs per repair orders, testing vehicles with diagnostic tools, diagnosing and maintaining automotive systems, and communicating with the Service Advisor about additional work and time estimates.

Qualifications

• Two years of automotive service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to supply your own complete set of technician hand tools and impact wrenches.
• Successfully pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
