Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, with hands-on learning under experienced technicians. You will inspect systems, assist in repairs, and interact with customers to explain procedures and ensure quality workmanship.

The role offers a competitive pay model with a flat-rate system, sign-on bonus for first-time hires, and opportunities for ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles; interact with customers to explain repairs and ensure service quality.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment (fees paid by the company).
