Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team at one of our stores. You will learn and develop skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under supervision, performing inspections, and assisting with repairs while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers a fast-paced environment with a flat-rate pay structure, a sign-on bonus for first-time hires, and opportunities to obtain ASE certifications during employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes
• Basic inspections
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed).
