The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently and effectively, adhering to MAP guidelines, and following dealership, manufacturer, and Plaza Tire Automotive standards.

Compensation:

Pay ranges from $20 to $35 per hour depending on experience (hourly plus flag rate).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Brake jobs

Qualifications:

• Previous automotive technician experience required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work at least five days per week, including Saturdays

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Automotive Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazards. Work environment temperatures may vary, including extreme heat or cold. PPE such as safety goggles may be required.

Physical requirements include:

• Standing up to eight hours daily
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching
• Lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds frequently
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Sufficient vision to detect color, depth, and refocus
