Pacific Air Forces at Bellows Air Station seeks a skilled technician to perform and instruct patrons in minor motor vehicle repairs and routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment.

You will demonstrate repairs, guide patrons through cleaning, reinstalling or replacing parts, and use basic test equipment to diagnose issues. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to manuals, and orderly shop operation.

Competenze

• Perform and instruct patrons in minor motor vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Demonstrate repairs such as cleaning, reinstalling, or replacing parts or components (spark plugs, brake shoes, mufflers).
• Identify parts to be cleaned/replaced; use basic test equipment as needed (timing lights, feeler gauges, circuit testers).
• Make adjustments (idle, distributor, voltage regulator) and settings; work with various hand tools.
• Ensure work conforms to repair manuals; maintain safety and housekeeping in the shop.
• Observe fire safety; issue parts/tools and account for them.
