Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced service environment. You will learn under experienced technicians, interact with customers, and contribute to high-quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes hands-on training and developing ASE certifications over time. The position offers flat-rate pay with a regionally based earning potential, and benefits including paid time off, healthcare, and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid driver's license required at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair (oil changes, inspections, tire repair).
• ASE certification or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and rotate tires as needed.
• Install parts and components as directed.
• Road test vehicles after service.
• Pursue ASE certifications within first two years of employment (company pays tests/fees).
