Job summary

Promotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join a growing reconditioning center in Loris / Myrtle Beach, SC. You will perform inspections, repairs, tire services, and diagnostics on a mix of domestic and Asian vehicles, earning $20-$30 per flagged hour on a flat-rate plan after a 30-day production guarantee.

The role offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, a family-owned culture, and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive technician experience.
• Strong tire mounting and balancing skills.
• Experience with brake, suspension, and general automotive maintenance.
• Diagnostic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs on dealership inventory.
• Complete tire mounting, balancing, replacement, and related tire services.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on domestic and Asian vehicles.
• Perform oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, fluid services, and general maintenance.
• Use Autel and Snap-on scan tools for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Document repairs and inspection results accurately in Shop Boss.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with the service advisor and shop team to prepare vehicles for sale and meet quality standards.
