The starting pay for this position is $20.04/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. As an Automotive Technician, Goodyear offers:

As an Automotive Technician in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers, you will:

• Professionally inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services, delivering an excellent guest experience
• Mentor and learn about new technologies in the automotive industry
• Work successfully in a team environment

What Our Automotive Technicians do:

• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate diagnostic skills
• Inspect, repair, and diagnose systems such as brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems
• Engage in formal training to stay updated on automotive technology
• Maintain standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping
• Perform manual tasks, including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
• Three years of automotive repair experience, including diagnosis and problem-solving
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE A4 Certification in Steering and Suspension
• ASE A5 Certification in Brakes
• State inspection licenses and/or MAC certification

Additional Considerations:

• Flexible schedule to cover operational needs, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to use diagnostic technology and applications
• Use tools and product knowledge to recommend services to guests
