CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate in the United States, Virginia region. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards, collaborating with a skilled team and gaining hands-on experience across various makes.

The role emphasizes safety, customer trust, and continuous training in a modern facility. The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for external hires, an hourly rate ranging from $23.28 to $41.94, and opportunities for growth

Qualificações

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Health and safety compliance knowledge.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Maintain ASE certifications (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2) as required by state/local law.
