CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate in Virginia to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles, from engines to suspension. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team in a modern shop, gaining hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles while upholding safety and quality standards.

New hires may earn up to $5,000 based on experience. The role offers growth through ongoing training and access to advanced tools, with ASE certifications encouraged and a focus on customer trust

Formación

• Experience in vehicle mechanical repair with a focus on engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong commitment to health and safety compliance and safe work practices.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced shop.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to solve technical challenges quickly.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• State/Local ASE certifications (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2) where applicable.
