Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Job Overview

We are seeking energetic, upbeat technicians/mechanics with a positive attitude who are passionate about solving problems and doing right by our guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Diagnose and repair vehicles using your knowledge and skills for our guests.
2. Build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
3. Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
4. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot customer concerns efficiently.
5. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
6. Coordinate with the service department and communicate customer concerns effectively.
7. Work with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver excellent results.

Qualifications

1. Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests.
2. 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
3. ASE Certifications preferred or a plan to achieve them.
4. Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
5. Meet or exceed hourly productivity goals.
6. Aptitude for learning new skills and processes.
7. Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
8. Long-term career development interest.

Physical Requirements

1. Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
2. Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head level.
3. Work in tight spaces as needed for repairs.
4. Use hand tools efficiently with good dexterity.
5. Walk and stand for most of the workday.
6. Drive manual transmission vehicles.
7. Navigate a computer efficiently.
