Automotive Technician / Mechanic | Up To $45/hr* & Weekends Off | Cedar Hill

Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles using your knowledge and skills
• Build experience across various domestic and foreign vehicles
• Complete accurate courtesy vehicle inspections
• Collaborate with team to troubleshoot guest concerns efficiently
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization standards
• Communicate effectively with the service department about guest concerns
• Work with other technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and guest service focus
• 5+ years automotive repair experience (diagnostics, drivability, suspension)
• Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models
• Focus on guest satisfaction and diagnostics expertise
• ASE Master Technician certification preferred with 10+ years experience
• European vehicle experience preferred
• Drive 50-60 hours/week with motivation
• Willingness to learn new skills and master factory scan tools

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lift/move over 100 pounds
• Work with tools on vehicles lifted above head
• Work in tight spaces as needed
• Use hand tools efficiently
• Stand/walk for most of the workday
• Drive manual transmission vehicles
• Navigate a computer efficiently
