Job Description

Volvo Cars Danvers is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our busy shop.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $80,000-$250,000

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles as requested.
  • Service vehicles in a timely manner for routine scheduled maintenance in accordance with dealer and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Communicate with the designated Service Manager or Advisor on a regular basis about work performed, necessary changes, new parts needed or any other concerns related to repair or maintenance work on vehicles.
  • Keep up with required knowledge and skills in automotive maintenance by attending workshops, seminars or other classes to help ensure the work completed is of the highest quality.
  • Follow all safety requirements and local and federal standards when working with all tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to best practices when working in the automotive service environment by reporting any accidents or incidents to management as soon as possible.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience as an auto technician in a dealership or shop environment.
  • ASE/OEM certification, but not required.
  • 21+ years old.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Team oriented.
