Job description

Boston Volvo Cars is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our busy shop.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $80,000-$250,000

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and repair vehicles as requested.
2. Service vehicles promptly for routine scheduled maintenance following dealer and manufacturer guidelines.
3. Communicate regularly with the Service Manager or Advisor regarding work performed, needed parts, or any concerns related to repairs or maintenance.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills through workshops, seminars, or classes to ensure high-quality work.
5. Follow all safety protocols and comply with local and federal standards when using tools and equipment.
6. Report any accidents or incidents to management immediately, adhering to best practices in the automotive service environment.

Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician in a dealership or shop environment.
2. ASE/OEM certification is preferred but not required.
3. Must be 21 years or older.
4. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
5. Ability to bend, move, lift, and perform physical duties required by the role.
6. Own tools required for the job.
7. Team-oriented mindset.
