Job summary

Enterprise Mobility is seeking an Automotive Technician for our SeaTac Service Center to perform car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleet service, and reconditioning per policy and quality standards.

The role demands judgment, initiative, and a customer-focused approach in a safety-sensitive environment. Pay starts at $34/hour with a $1/hour ASE bonus after certification, progressing to $49/hour with experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in automotive repair.
• 4+ current and valid ASE certifications required.
• Degree in Automotive Technology or completion of related training preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specs.
• Complete warranty and recall repairs after training.
• Maintain vehicle repair history with Repair Orders.
• Provide safe, reliable vehicles after service.
• Follow health, safety and environmental standards.

Overview

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

The pay for this position starts at $34 / hour. In addition, you can earn an additional $1 / hour for ASE certifications after the required minimum of 4 (up to 10 total, A1-A8, X1 & L1). Employees in this position earn between $34 - $49 / hour depending on length of service and certifications. This position is located at our Service Center, 2006 S 146th St SeaTac, WA 98168.

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.
• Complete required manufacturer's training and perform warranty and recall repairs.
• Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.
• Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
• Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.
• May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
• Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Update job knowledge by participating in company and manufacturer approved training or industry related training
• Follow proper procedures to comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Requires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
• Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required
• 4+ current and valid ASE certifications required
• Degree in Automotive Technology, Completion of Automotive Technical College or Technical vocational training preferred
• Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus
• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
• A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required
• Must be able understand, read, write, and speak English
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test including cannabis
• Must be at least 18 years of age
