Job summary

Enterprise Mobility is hiring an Automotive Technician at our Hanover, MD Service Center. The role performs car service, repairs, preventive maintenance, and reconditioning in a multi-brand fleet environment.

The starting pay is $32.00 per hour with production bonuses and a $500 tool allowance plus a $500 signing bonus. Shift is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with opportunities for promotion and paid training.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in automotive repair required.
• OEM training or Certification OR 4 current ASE certifications required.
• Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus.
• Basic PC skills (Windows, Office) required.
• Valid US driver’s license for at least 1 year required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and be subject to random testing.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs and preventive maintenance meet manufacturer specifications.
• Complete training and perform warranty/recall repairs.
• Complete ADA installs after training.
• Maintain repair history with Repair Order documentation.
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles after service.
• Follow inventory tracking procedures and use diagnostic tools.

The Automotive Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

Schedule: Monday through Friday: 3:00PM to 11:00PM.

This position is located at our Service Center 7438 New Ridge Road Hanover, MD 21076.

The starting compensation for this job is $32.00 per hour plus production bonuses. Our average hourly production bonus is $4.00 per hour, but production bonuses are not capped. Our average compensation ranges depending on the number of ASE’s you hold, State Inspections Certifications, overtime, and production bonuses. Automotive Techs will also receive a $500 annual tool allowance and a $500 signing bonus to purchase tools!

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.
• Complete required manufacturer's training and perform warranty and recall repairs.
• Complete ADA installs as required upon completion of training.
• Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
• Utilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.
• May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
• Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Requires ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
• Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.
• Follow proper procedures to comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.
• OEM training/Certification OR 4 current and valid ASE certifications required
• Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus.
• A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required.
• Must have a valid US driver's license for at least 1 year.
• Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no DUI or DWI on driving record in the last 3 years) employment reference and social security.
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be able to work Monday - Froday: 3pm-11pm
