Automotive Technician/Mechanic and Automotive General Service Technicians

Responsibilities:

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN:

Salary Range: $17 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify repairs needed
• Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle
• Assist with inventory management and store duties
• Follow safety standards and procedures during services
• Test drive vehicles following company policy and traffic laws
• Maintain technical knowledge through Monro University training
• Operate and maintain equipment safely per manufacturer guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

GENERAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, plus incentives

This full-time or part-time hourly role involves performing routine vehicle repairs and maintenance according to company standards and manufacturer specifications. The position emphasizes delivering exceptional 5-star service, effective communication of vehicle issues, and ensuring guest expectations are met regarding time and quality.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Automotive training or equivalent experience
• ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program
