Job Responsibilities

Automotive Technician:

Salary Range: $18 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs
• Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle
• Assist in inventory management and store duties
• Follow safety standards and procedures during services
• Test drive vehicles per policy and traffic laws
• Maintain technical knowledge via Monro University training
• Operate and maintain equipment safely according to manufacturer guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

General Service Technician:

Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour, plus incentives

This full-time or part-time hourly role involves performing routine vehicle repair and maintenance, delivering exceptional service, communicating vehicle issues effectively, and meeting guest expectations for time and quality.

Qualifications

Automotive Technician:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Automotive training or equivalent experience
• ASE certification and State Inspection license (if applicable)
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program

General Service Technician:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
