Job summary

America’s Auto Auction (Richmond) is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems in cars, vans, and light trucks. This role involves performing engine tune-ups, routine maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure safety and reliability.

The position emphasizes thoroughness, strong attention to detail, and customer-friendly communication. Work hours are Monday–Friday, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician/mechanic experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Good set of tools (specialty tools provided).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and staff.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Able to prioritize tasks and handle urgent repairs.
• Works independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, accountable, and professional.

Responsibilities
