Job summary

America's Auto Auction (Toledo) is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic in Perrysburg, Ohio. The role includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on cars, vans, and light trucks, performing engine tune-ups, and maintaining a safe, organized shop.

We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus, not flat rate, the pay range of $20.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience, Monday–Friday 8–5, full benefits, holidays, PTO, and a matching 401(k).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician/mechanic experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on cars, vans, and light trucks.
• Perform engine tune-ups and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
• Repair or replace parts and components as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide courteous, efficient customer service.
• Communicate operational concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Work independently and collaboratively with the team.
