Job summary

Columbus Fair Auto Auction is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in cars, vans, and light trucks. Earn a $1,000 sign-on bonus and enjoy a Monday–Friday 8-5 schedule with full benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician/mechanic experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on cars, vans, and light trucks.
• Perform engine tune-ups and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
• Repair or replace parts and components as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Provide courteous, efficient customer service.
• Communicate operational concerns to management in a timely manner.
• Work independently and collaboratively with the team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
