Job summary

All Tune Knoxville-5267 is seeking an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs with accuracy and care at our Knoxville, TN shop. You’ll handle preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure vehicles return safe and reliable to customers, with a path to become a Master Technician or move into leadership with ongoing training.

Full-time schedule Mon–Fri 8–5, Sat 8–2, up to 48.5 hrs/week, occasional weekends, with notice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional automotive shop environment.
• At least 1 ASE certification preferred (not required).
• Section 609 EPA Certification for automotive HVAC (required or must obtain within 6 months).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must provide personal hand and specialty tools.
• Valid TN driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to learning.
• Reliable transportation to commute to Knoxville, TN.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately while following company procedures
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members regarding vehicle needs

• Follow company policies and manufacturer guidelines for all work performed

Position Overview

The Automotive Technician / Mechanic performs customer‑requested maintenance and repairs with accuracy, efficiency, and strong quality control. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and ensure vehicles are returned to customers in safe, reliable condition. A willingness to advance and learn diagnostic skills.

• Full‑time position
• Monday through Friday, 8 to 5; Saturday 8 to 2; up to 48.5 hrs per week with availability for occasional weekends as needed. Day off approved with 2 weeks notice.

Compensation

$12.00 - $17.00 per hour
