Job summary

Adam & Son Auto Repair and Service in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced automotive technician to work a four-day week, 7:00 am–6:30 pm, with no weekends. The shop emphasizes quality, safety, and ongoing skill development.

You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on passenger cars, trucks, and fleets across a range of systems, with a performance-based pay plan and benefits including health care, retirement, and paid vacation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, AC re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations, and headlight/taillight installations.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices.
• Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the source of customer problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
• Inspect vehicles per state emissions and safety requirements.
• Perform necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness.
• Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

Rockstar Automotive Technician / Mechanic – 4-Day Work Week / Flexible Schedule

Independent, 20+ years in business, low turnover, high quality shop servicing all makes and models of passenger cars and trucks, and fleets of light and medium duty trucks.

Work schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 6:30 pm. No weekends or Fridays.

Compensation: Elimination of flat‑rate pay for top technicians in favor of a performance‑based plan. Compensation plans available that match skill level.
