Group 1 Automotive, including Lexus Gwinnett, is actively seeking experienced automotive technicians to join our Group 1 dealerships. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience performing complex repairs and diagnostics.
• ASE certifications in brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance strongly preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications are a bonus!
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license in the state you will work and a good driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately following dealership and factory standards.
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and ETA for customers.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance strongly preferred
• Manufacturer certifications are a bonus!
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work anda good drivingrecord
• Excellent customer service skills
