Job summary
The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack LLC in Tallahassee is seeking an Automotive Technician to professionally inspect, diagnose and repair tire and automotive services while delivering an excellent customer experience. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of automotive diagnosis and repair experience.
- 2+ ASE certifications preferred (A4, A5).
- Section 609 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Background check and flexible availability.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension and alignment systems.
- Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and coworkers.
- Mentor and train teammates; keep the shop organized and safe.
- Stay current with automotive tech through formal training.
- Adhere to company policies and safety/environmental rules.
