Job summary

The Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack LLC in Florida seeks a Technician to inspect, diagnose and repair tire and automotive services while delivering an excellent customer experience. You will explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and coworkers, and continuously learn new techniques in a fast-changing field.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension and alignment systems, performing maintenance, and adhering to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of automotive diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 2+ ASE certifications preferred (A4 Steering and Suspension; A5 Brakes).
• Section 609 certification preferred.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• Valid driver's license and pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications — brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension and alignment.
• Perform maintenance services and assist fellow technicians as needed.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and teammates.
• Keep the shop organized, safe, and in compliance with company policies.
