Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will learn under experienced technicians, perform routine inspections, and communicate repair details to customers while delivering high‑quality workmanship.

A sign‑on bonus of $1,500 applies to first‑time hires, with a flat‑rate pay model reflecting regional productivity.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn automotive tasks.
• Valid driver's license required; able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing and math skills sufficient for shopping, notes and measurements.
• Preferred: 2 years automotive repair experience or related training/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles after service.
• Aim to obtain/maintain ASE certifications within first two years; company covers test fees.
