Job summary

AAA-The Auto Club Group in Cary, NC seeks an Automotive Technician B for full-time work. You’ll perform repairs and maintenance including brakes, suspension, diagnostics, and inspections, applying strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork to ensure safe, reliable vehicles.

You’ll mentor junior technicians, drive vehicles into service bays, conduct digital inspections, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced shop. Eligible for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or technical school certification completed.
• Ability to independently perform basic to complex vehicle repairs.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and maintain safe, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance as per repair orders.
• Oil changes, tire work, alignments, brakes and other maintenance tasks.
• Train and mentor lower-level technicians and test drive vehicles after service.
• Prepare vehicles for service and delivery to customers; maintain shop cleanliness.
