AAA-The Auto Club Group in Cary, NC is seeking a General Service Technician for a full-time hourly role. You will perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and battery services, working with seasoned technicians in a fast-paced shop.

The position emphasizes safety, quality service, and opportunity to build hands-on automotive skills. Requires a HS diploma/GED, valid driver's license, and mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or technical school graduate/certification.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• No prior work experience required.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Knowledge of automotive/truck systems and tools to perform basic repairs and maintenance.
• Demonstrate proper use of equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive repairs, adjustments, and maintenance as per repair orders.
• Carry out oil changes, tire replacements/repairs, and general maintenance tasks.
• Drive vehicles into the service bay, prepare for and complete digital vehicle inspections.
• Test drive vehicles and prepare for delivery after repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and work areas; perform other duties as needed.
