Job summary

Extreme Point S Tire in Portland, OR is seeking an Automotive Technician Level 4 to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. You will work with technicians, service advisors and management to ensure high-quality repairs and customer service.

Requirements include 6+ years of experience, ASE certification, and strong knowledge of engine, transmission, electrical and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• ASE certification or equivalent is required.
• 6+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician with a focus on diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and software.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify repairs.
• Mentor junior technicians and maintain safety standards.
• Keep records of repairs, parts, and services and communicate timelines to customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
