Point S Tire and Auto Service in Idaho is seeking an Automotive Technician Level 4 to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles. You will collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and management to deliver high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, ASE certification, and deep knowledge of engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification required.
• 6+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Extensive knowledge of engine, transmission, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Proficient in diagnostic tools and testing software.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic and repair services on a wide range of vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, and HVAC.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs.
• Mentor junior technicians and share knowledge with the team.
• Ensure repairs meet quality standards and safety protocols.
• Explain repairs and timeframes to service advisors and customers.
