Job summary
Point S Tire and Auto Service in Idaho is seeking an Automotive Technician Level 4 to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles. You will collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and management to deliver high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, ASE certification, and deep knowledge of engine, transmission, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Qualifications
- ASE Certification required.
- 6+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Extensive knowledge of engine, transmission, electrical and HVAC systems.
- Proficient in diagnostic tools and testing software.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostic and repair services on a wide range of vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, and HVAC.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs.
- Mentor junior technicians and share knowledge with the team.
- Ensure repairs meet quality standards and safety protocols.
- Explain repairs and timeframes to service advisors and customers.
