Job summary

HELM is expanding its team in Mahwah, NJ, and is seeking an Automotive Technician III to diagnose, repair and maintain JLR family vehicles within the on-site Technical Center. You will perform inspections, recalls, and warranty repairs, while ensuring safety and fiveS standards are adhered to.

Responsibilities include pre-delivery inspections, on-site support for launches, and maintaining vehicle protection during work.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is strongly preferred.
• Current/prior Jaguar, Land Rover technical training certifications very highly preferred.
• Prior Jaguar, Land Rover, European, or Premium manufacturer experience highly preferred.
• Residence within close proximity to Mahwah, NJ preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• Technicians need to supply own tools, built in toolboxes are in shop.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis, maintenance, rework and robust validation of company vehicles to ensure product standards and customer expectations are met.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspection.
• Provide technical support on field evaluation units and special project vehicles.
• Prepare new model launch vehicles and support launch events with on-site technical support.
• Ensure vehicle is adequately protected while it is being worked on.
• Follow published documentation relating to service, diagnostic and maintenance procedures and provide product feedback.
• Perform general workshop responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
