Parrish Tire Company in Mount Airy, NC is seeking a Retail – Automotive Technician II for our Tire Center. The role involves mounting tires, maintenance tasks, oil changes, and service work at a fast pace within a team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in the tire/automotive industry
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Basic TIA Tire Service Certification preferred
• Must provide your own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Mounting and balancing basic OE tires on passenger cars and light trucks
• Performing basic oil and filter changes on vehicles
• Properly torquing wheels
• Resetting tire pressure monitoring system
• Flat tire repairs
• Assist in maintaining shop and grounds to safe work environment
• Following Tire Industry Association (TIA) safety procedures
• Any other duties as assigned by the store manager
