Job summary

Parrish Tire Company in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an Outside Technician II to mount, dismount, and balance tires on heavy service equipment and on customer fleets. You will work outdoors, assisting fleets and emergency roadside calls, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with Saturdays as needed. Availability around the clock is required during on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a roadside tire technician.
• Valid NC driver’s license.
• Must become (TIA) Certified if not already.

Responsibilities

• Mount and dismount tires on heavy service equipment, passenger trucks and light duty trucks.
• Perform tire maintenance on fleet trucks.
• Balance tires using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain updated reports on fleet accounts.
• Communicate safety concerns and issues to the service or store manager.
• Mount/dismount wheels from customer fleets as needed.
• Carry out tire repairs and service programs.
• Perform daily safety pre-trip inspections on service trucks.
• Keep the service truck and work area clean for safety.
