Job summary

You will join Young Mazda Idaho Falls as an Automotive Technician, from entry-level to Master Tech, in a high-performing shop. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days and a compensation package negotiable based on experience.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles using modern tools and training resources to advance your skills within a family‑oriented culture and strong benefits program.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Automotive Technician or mechanic (ASE Certification preferred, not required).
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, repair processes, and automotive technology.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models using advanced diagnostic tools and technology.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Work with modern automotive systems, including hybrid and electric vehicle technology.
• Ensure all repairs and services meet industry standards and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver an efficient workflow and exceptional customer experience.
