Berglund Automotive, a family-owned automotive group serving Southwest-Central Virginia for over 50 years, is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join our service team. With modern equipment, strong leadership, and consistent work, you can maximize earnings based on experience and performance.

Compensation is quoted as annual earnings of $45,000 to $150,000, depending on certifications, productivity, hours, and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems.
• Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information systems.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
• Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Follow all safety policies and manufacturer procedures.
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
